kz Coral vitalizer or kz phols extra for overall sps nutrition

want to add this to my tank just cause. nitrates/trites are at 0 and i think the corals are not getting enough.

I've heard lots of good stuff about phols extra. As for CV. I personally uses them. I see no difference after months of dosing.

If you think you're nitrogen deficient why not just dose potassium nitrate or sodium nitrate instead of spending a bunch of money on some products that may provide the same results?

i have my fish feeder set on auto at the lowest dose. im deployed to Afghanistan and wanted my wife to do very little. i have 2 clowns a 6 line and a tang. i used to feed them brine every other day but did not want the wife to deal with that so i got them hooked on pellets.

i used to feed the corals oyster feast but can no longer find the seller on ebay. its so hard trouble shooting some coral problems that the wife is having when im not there and its very very very frustrating especially when its all sps.

Allmost- i think thats the best idea for her right now. thanks

Xtra did well for me, polyp extension in general and accelerated growth.

I run a 90% zeo system though.

It will accel the most under ideal zeo conditions, and patience.

In conjunction with proper lighting, ideal water quality, and proper Dosing, look at this transformation :

Tron... I see how the tissue on the valida (?) is much lighter but now which Zeo product would you use to get the entire coral to be that nice pastel purple?

I am using bio pellets and dosing zeobak , bio mate , start 3 , cv and amino

Seems that the hair algae is melting .

CV works well with coral booster, added 10 minutes after.

Hi Touring, best of luck on your deployment! I can see what you mean about the fish feedings, when I go away I don't bother asking my wife to feed anything that is frozen. In addition to additives, you may want to dry tuning your skimmer to skim drier, this may leave some nutrient suspended in the water column longer and lead to improved colours. Something you would probably want to figure out at least a few days in advance though before you leave.

Give it time. Also, be sure to allow your skimmer to remain off for 2-3 hours after Dosing!

I use zeobak, 2 times a week. For my tank, 1 drop mixed with 2ml coral snow, 1ml tank water, wait 10 minutes before adding to the display in high flow, skimmer off. Once a week
Is after a water change.

I also repeat this twice weekly with biomate.

I don't use zeo zym

I ended up getting the wife Prodibio REEF BOOSTER it was on sale 33 for 30 vials on marine depot. couldnt hurt to try.... ill have her take some before pics and take after when i get home.

I have tried the aminos and phols and after a few weeks the SPS did color up but I also started feeding heavier too ?
