L.A. in wall 800 gallon system!

Looks great bro... Anyone who has been to his house is amazed about how much work and detail George has put into his tank. I know I am...

George,
It seems that you've had your share of bad luck, but I'm glad that you didn't throw in the towel.

That tank is far to great to give up. The radions are a great choice, I got them over my tank, I went overkill as well putting more than suggested but the corals love my decision. Keep up the good work. Hopefully you'll have another meeting at your house so I can come see the reborn tank.

Glad you like the Tunze 6255 like I told you. It save you a lot of money in long run! Btw if you want to add more healthy carpet in your collection I pick up a great looking red carpet from Sdc you should get one too .

George's tank is just looking better and better with each change he makes. The new openenss and cleanliness of the tank is striking.

Thanks for the update and the tank is looking good especially with those radions on top. Cant wait to see the progression shots and you opinion on the difference the corals have with the switch.

Hey Brent,

I'm happy you guys from the club came over recently to see the tank (and help with the light set up) Having a supportive club helps and some of the guys at the san fernando reef club have been invaluable to me.

BTW I love the gorgeous piece of Red Dragon I got from you...I seems really happy. :bounce1:

Hey Jimmy,

I was seriously having some soul searching to do after my kalkwasser troubles that nearly wiped me clean...I had a few good friends ask me why anybody in their right mind would keep an ecosystem so fragile that any issue could cause a fatal outcome...and they are correct! :hammer:
It was definetly a trying time and I came to the conclusion that i've been into fish stuff since I was in grade school and it's a part of my life. I spend a few hours each late night enjoying the tank and taking care of the inhabitants...what was I suppose to do with all the free time if I gave up (watch TV and just become a couch slug....no way !)

About the LED lights...I also thought it would be a great thing to overkill on the amount because it seems like the consensus isn't that the LED spread isn't that great and my corals also seem happy with the decision.

I love my Tunze 6255...it has ridiculous undertow! The undertow seems almost as strong as the output...and they're quiet and programable with my apex. I've got four of them so combined they're producing 22,000 gph max flow! :uzi:

Thanks Dave,

You've been my biggest supporter and encourager here in the valley...I'm very blessed to have a friend like you. All your help this past year with my reef gave me a lot of encouragement and kept me going when I wanted to throw in the towel!

I'm going to be posting lots of pics of my corals from about one month under LEDs and then later we can compare them with progression shots.

Thanks, Newbie

Thanks...

Wow great build. Love those dimensions. Getting a tank quoted for myself around those dimensions.

I'm really glad I got these dimensions....and if you could also do three side viewable that would be great (it's one of my favorite features)
