L.A. in wall 800 gallon system!

I believe those are diatoms. Its part of the cycling process. It will go away on its own. I would change the GFO and replace once a month until you get the phosphates in control.

Algae bloom!

I'm having an algae bloom that is driving me crazy but my phosphates are at 0-.25 and my roaphos is just 2 months old!

Here is the picture of the algae and it's on the sand and even on the corals! Any thoughts???

Looks like Dinoflagellates. Hopefully it will go away on it's own cause it can be a PITA. Been there done that. Great job on the build. Everything looks fantastic! :)

I truly am hating this alage problem, it's not as bad as before but still its keeping me from buying coral because it suffocated most of the corals!
 
Sorry I Have not been posting pictures on a regular basis but today I've got alot of pictures to upload.

First off is some more livestock to add to the tally. Most of them are in the QT now and will be there for about 4-6 weeks. I can't wait to see them in the Display!

This Photo is showing 4 Blue Tangs (5" long each), Square Anthias Male, 4" long Sohal Tang, Kole Tang, and a Red Sea Semilarvatus Butterfly.

This a pic of the Sohal Tang in the QT tank. (I've heard they can become super mean...any ideas if my Display is 10 feet long and there are about 20 tangs will that decrease aggression?)

I also Picked up some beautiful Fairy wrasses. Australian Scotts Fairy super male, clown fairy wrasse, and a tri-color fairy wrasse. :beer:
