Labout fairy wrase???

I have kept one in the past. Generally if your water parameters are pretty good, and tankmates are relatively peaceful you should be ok. They should eat mysis, pellets, and flake very well with a bit of time (if not immediately).

they are expert jumpers and eggcrate will not keep them in you need some type of top with 1/4" holes or smaller..they are pretty easy to keep once they are acclimated to the tank..mine was the boss of the tank..but other than that they are like any other fairy wrasse to keep..i feed mine a huge varitey of food..plus mine even eats nori

I agree. Nori?????

I agree. Nori?????

all my fairys eat the seaweed..my eightline flasher loves it as well....for the op if you don't get a top soon you are going to find a very nice and expensive fish all dried up on the carpet..not if it happens but it is when it happens

Most of my fairys eat nori from the clip too.

My LFS has a sweet Labouti I was going to get but he is in a 400G display tank and he has whipped a few other wrasses they put in there. I guess he is definately one of the boss Laboutis and I don't need a known terror in my tank.

I picked up a pair about 2 weeks ago off of D/D and they are doing great.
None of my other wrasses are showing any aggression toward them.
But please make yourself a cover. Or he is sentenced to die.
