Laura, When you come to Ohio ...come over via the turnpike and drop those Acans off at MY house. Do you need the address? lol Sorry to hear you are not taking the tank with you.

I guess a 280 mile round trip comutte from Greensburg to Akron is a little bit much everyday Eh? :lolspin:
I guess you're next issue is going to be finding somewhere to live in Akron or do you allready have that figured out?

hehehe :) Maybe I could bring a few out for you lol! Ehh yeah it sucks, but if I decide to keep it back home...I know TJ would take care of it...aka steal all my acans and put them in his tank. :lol:

It is a bit much lol. I have made that trip 28483475 times though I swear, because that's where TJ was living for 2 years. It's so strange how things happen sometimes..isn't it? Thanks though, I am very excited. It's a great opportunity. I will be living on campus this summer I believe because I will be going back and forth alot from home, but starting Sept. 1 when I'm out there for good, I will have to get an apartment. I'm trying to convince TJ to start job searching Akron/Cleveland again....lol
 
Laura's away on vacation... so I went over and performed a 15g water change today... broken up over 3 - 5 gallon intervals. The tank temp was up to 83.1, so I kicked on the fan (which wasn't on) and it dropped it back down to an acceptable range.

I'm going to try and make a run back tomorrow, so I can stick her fan on a timer. I was going to just let it run 24/7, but she said it drops her tank down to like 76 at night if she lets it run.

Anyway, the tank really looks nice with the new bulb... so I'll try and remember to take my camera and top down box with me tomorrow as well.

Why not hook up the fan to the light timer so they run at the same time?
I guess you forgot the photo equipment...lol
 
Yeah that's what I'm going to do

LOL... I got pretty busy and wasn't able to make it over today. Tomorrow is going to be pretty much fish tank only stuff... My tank is waaaaaay overdue for some TLC, and also I need to complete what I mentioned above on Laura's tank.
 
I hear ya. I managed to make 50g of RODI water today but never found the time to start turning some of it it into saltwater for an overdue water change....tomorrows project now, along with a good sump cleaning once the new saltwater heats and airates for a day.
 
man those acans look great, if my buddy from dayton was flying back instead of driving i would have him pick one up for me lol :P


edit: i know i know he cant bring them on the plane, was just wishing i guess lol
