One of my mags, excuse color filter, but this pic does not do the size of this thing justice. Do magnifica from different regions grow differently? My other mag has the typical perched up blooming look but this guy here spreads out and covers over at least 3 large rocks. At first I wanted him as big as possible but now I'm like, calm down big guy. It's like the plant on little shop of horrors, lol. If I quit feeding will he shrink back or have I created a monster?

Mine varies from a vase, to flat and spread out, and everything in between. I think it's mostly because of the clownfish smashing and biting it, lighting, and flow changes.

Lighting plays a role in their appearance, reaching up for it, or expanding to increase surface area.
Flow can be a factor as well.
