Large White Spots (not fuzzy) on Watchman Goby

My yellow watchman goby has had a couple white patches for a couple weeks now. It popped up more or less overnight, and I had to take apart the whole tank to get him out (he really likes hiding in tiny spaces of rocks) and into the QT.

I initially thought it was Saprolegnia, but after about 10 days of treatment with various medications, he's not really responding. Also, it's not fuzzy like Saprolegnia is.

I've linked a picture below, but I can't find anything else on the web like this (other than one thread where they suggested it might be a bruise). It's not raised, not cottony. He has a couple smaller but similar spots - one farther back on his right side, and a very small on his left side.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Subscribing. I'm interested to know. My first YWG developed the same thing. Sad to say he didn't make it despite appearing healthy besides that.

Saprolegnia is a f/w fungus, but I'm guessing you mean the s/w equivalent. Fungus is rare in s/w fish (but not impossible). Bacterial infections are much more common. What meds have you already tried?
