I thought I would share some pics of what was once just 1 RBTA a few years back, has cloned into 17.... BTW, the tank is a 225g if that helps for scale. The top part of the patch is over 3 1/2 across.

One please....lol

That's a gorgeous tank! Looks like your 225 mixed reef is turning itself into a species tank for E. Quadricolor...I am jealous.

thanks.

I actually have 2 pair of percs in them. they host in all of them, though they seem to have thier favorites. I will consider adding more percs. the ones I have are still young.

Don't consider someone's saying that you're headed for a species tank as a joke. Been there, have that.

Anemone, can I see a bigger pic of your RBTA aquarium. I saw a tiny pic in your profile, but I want to see it closer.

I dont ;) . I start that tank out as a SPS clam tank, all but one SPS bleach when the tank overheat a few years ago, but my clams (and the rbta that I added in the begining) are booming. I had one LR with a couple of mushrooms on it, that I just could never get rid of. Im just letting that tank do what it wants. If I end up with all RBTA, Im cool with that. I dont have time to try to steer it into a different direction. Plus it is doing so well, I dont want to mess with it ;)

Here is a whole 3 page document on when I made this tank about everything if your interested in the equiptment.

Click on the www link above my post. It goes to the RK article on my tank. I really need to take some new pics, but I never seem to have time... :(

Foster....just awesome!
One question...doesn't that one clam get stung by the one RBTA that looks like it is onle a few cm's away from it?(first pic., bottom right)

Having so many individuals, I'm curious to know if any (or all) of them gone through a spawning event? (I know they usually split... but...)

Very cool looking tank :)
I have one rbta. I cant imagine what the looks like in person.

Wow! Amazing! That's my dream tank. Never too many RBTA's. Are you doing anything special that might be responsible for them splitting like that?
