Lawnmower blenny with SPS

mine doesn't touch anything. Of the larger algae blennies I think they are one of the less riskier species. Have clam too.

I've heard they weren't reef safe so I stayed away from them altho I wanted one.. Maybe I'll try one

My thankfully departed lawnmower via a nasty pump accident nuked SPS frags by pulling on them to clean algae and ended up with them out of the racks and touching one another thereby killing the frags. I usually don't look forward to a fish's demise, but I was not too upset when he got "his". If it's epoxied down or too big for them to move they're probably fine.

I have had a few over the years with no problems. I prefer the starry blenny though as they will eat algae but also other foods. That way they don't starve after you get the algae under control like a lawnmower will.

Our LM blenny is a perfect tank addition. I have never had a problem with it. Allthough it likes to come to the front dead center of the tank. And do a little dance and crap for every one to see. :frog:
