Lead or Zinc in the tank.

Okay I need a little help here. yesterday I purchased a Long tentacle anemone from my LFS. The bag was clipped closed with some kind of metal clip (lead or zinc I assume) Being very careful NOT to drop it in the tank, a small 1/2 inch or less) piece fell in and I can't find it to save my life (aside from dismanteling all the rocks)
my question is, will this affect my tank / water quality?
what should I be watching for?
should I takke it apart and find it?

Zinc is highly toxic, but I suspect that the amount is small enough that the tank will be fine. I'd probably buy some Poly Filters and turn them for a while, just to be sure.

Whew! Thanks.. I'll do just that. I'm not sure the actual material they use. Its just a clamped piece of soft metal.
