LEDs - please weigh in

Hi all,

I was at SEA today talking lights. Does anybody have a suggestion about LEDs? How much coverage do you get? How many would you buy - money is an object? I have a 180g (6' x 2'). Thanks.

Check ou these lights. I am running a 24" on my 39G and have had excellent results. There are some drawbacks with using a manual timer they kick on at 100% but if you are using a controller you can customize your cycle. The little remote works awesome.

I've considered DIY but I don't think we have the stamina right now and I'm getting desperate to use the front door again. Gotta get the 180 set up and out of the foyer...

If I had more energy to research, etc. I would be braver but I've also heard some folks say they didn't save money by doing it themselves. I'm a chemist - not an engineer (damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a magician - for all you trekkies )
