New Video

Finally took some time to make a new video of the tank. Things are growing like crazy, and I am so pleased. I have added several new things including the beautiful Desjardin Sailfin Tang that is hamming it up in the video. I have been so busy lately, I haven't updated much, but I hope you like the new vid. Thanks! The music is by B-Tribe.......from the album "Spiritual, Spiritual!" and the song is "Sketches of St. Antoni." My last video, I used a B-Tribe song as well. They have a great vibe and I often look at the tank while listening to them. Get's ya in the mood.

I has been a little while since I have viewed this great thread and what can I say but pure perfection. I am amazed on how big everything has gotten since last seeing an update. Seems like your choices in the blended LEDs have really worked out for the tank.

Hey thanks! I appreciate you following along. Yes, the tank has really kicked into high gear, and I couldn't be happier. It's so stressful / scary to throw down so much cash for lighting........HOPING that it's gonna work. I am very pleased with the results.

I started with 5 kessil A350 narrow's.........450 watts. I now have 7 kessils.......as well as multiple ecoxotic lights.........5 ecoxotic Marine fixtures and 5 ecoxotic stunner strips for over 800 watts of LED!! The corals seem to love it, so I'm happy!!

Sorry for the delayed response.....been out of town. I run the kessils at 100% from 1pm to 9pm..........8 hours. I run the ecoxotic fixtures from 11am to 11pm with a 2 hour extra moonlight effect from 11pm to 1am (I work nights, so tend to be up late).

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. It is crazy for me to look back through the changes as well. I have high hopes that it will maintain it's steady growth and be quite the mature reef in another year or two. Very exciting.
