Lemon Peel- bacterial infection?

I got this lemon peel angel about a week ago. Doing tank transfer and will finish off with prazipro. I noticed this on his tail section this morning. He looks dirty where the issue is. I'm possibly seeing some fin rot, but its not centralized to the ends of the fin, more "creating a hole". I dosed furan-2 to see if it'll help. He's eating and swimming fine. Could it be bacterial infection?

One last note, he's house with a flame angel and the flame is doing fine. No fighting noticed between them, but then again, these aren't nips

That looks like hemorrhagic septicemia to me. Furan-2 treats it. However, I've lost more fish than I've saved to that disease. I would suspend all other treatments and keep dosing Furan until his condition improves.

Whats the general course of this disease? Loss of appetite, lethargy, spreading of the disease? He was perfect the day before. Is this disease contagious? Only treatment currently is Furan-2, no other meds yet.

Sometimes appetite suppression (although that could just be due to the antibiotics I used to treat). However, some fish ate just fine right up to the day they died. I've had more than one fish in QT with the disease... but I don't know if it spread or they just both came in with it. Bacterial infections are contagious, but not as much as parasites. If you have a UV laying around, that might help kill any bacterium in the water column (prevent it from spreading).
