Leonardo's Lagoon

Thanks Dave! I did my second treatment last Thursday. I didn't found ANY FW or eggs anymore. The second treatment also caused a lot less stress to the corals, don't know the cause of that. Concentration etc was 50 ppm Levamisole again.
To be short, finding no eggs and FW's gave me hope. I will perform a third treatment next week, and one right before the corals go into the new tank.

Flo, the new tank will be delivered this weekend, so I'll start the new build(thread) Monday :)

Leo i can´t wait!!

;)

Brain, I agree. Unfortunately the corals has bleached quite a bit over the week. Considered I only lit the tank with T5 (no MH) the last days (to decrease the stress), the Levamisole is quite aggressive. Not in short term as most dips (iodine etc.) but definitely on the longer term.
This is the same thing Travis, another member on RC, experienced when dipping with Levamisole.

That is consistent with my experience, too Leonardo.
I still use Levamisole against the AEFW - it is potent. I killed both my desalwii and my plana colonies with it :(

Bummer, because I like like those two species the best of all! They are challenging to keep!

YESSSSS! The tank is here. Wasn't easy to transport :D Gonna get some sleep now and hook up the camera.
Tomorrow morning I'll have pictures... And that is a promise.

mike, Levamisole is very aggressive indeed, but I experienced that the second dip stressed the corals a lot less then the first...
I didn't lose any colony (yet) but some have been on the edge.

:lmao: How could I forget! Year of the Tiger.

Flo, I'm very exited to start this tank. The shape of it really makes me want to turn it into a Staghorn reef again.

Joost, it will be Apogon dominated. Which means a school of more then 50 Apogon Leptacanthus :)

Wow, this is going to be awesome!!!

I wish you the best of luck Leonardo! Both you're tanks have been an inspiration to me, but the Formosa Forest was my favorite. Can't wait for this one.

That's gonna be awesome, I hope I can add a small captive bred school of Apogon Leptacanthus to my 80g.
Any intentions of starting a build thread on WWR too? ;)

Leonardo, do you already have the apogons in a holding tank or are they on order?

Looking forward to seeing pics later today :)

:celeb2::beer::celeb1::celeb3: Where are the pictures already! It's morning time in California . Glad to hear the tank has arrived and that the corals appear to be ready. Any plans for more treatments before they go in?
