Leslies Rimless 5ft

researching the idea of going with the bio pellets at half dose to polish the system once its running. i wonder if it will yield results on a mixed system..

ok so the guys at work have gotton onto my light frame today, im not too sure if i should go galvanising or just straight paint using a epoxy ? its going to be over the water surface so i dont want to skimp.. 1st prize would have been to go with stainless steel but at 1 grand vs 100 bucks i couldent complain..

suggestions?

I'm loving this tank build, that wavebox idea built in is really innovative I've never seen that done!

How does it function as far as making a wave? It fills up and then the water shoots out?

Thanks Brando457

Im eager to fill her up and play with the settings myself :) i have downsized to a 6055 pump, which i think may be my only problem, (may need to change to a 6105 to run it effectivley but the proof will be in the pudding)

It basically works the same as the standard off the shelf waveboxes from tunze, but a little cheaper because of the glass L within the overflow.

I wanted a functional stylish device not another intrusive box within the display, hence its positioning:)

Thank you for the kind words, i should have more progress pics next monday as i will have alot of items (glass for sump & light frame) coming in this next week..

nice job so far. the wavebox is a great idea, and i like how you placed your overflow box at the back center. geat for hiding cords and pumps.
the moon lite effect is my favorite so far!
