Let's see those mushroom pictures!

Doh! So close. Anyone know what I did wrong? Why does the message show the link to the hosted site rather than the image itself?

LOL, you can still click on them to see. Nice. They have to be in jpeg I believe. Then you click on the img button and add the link.

Are you clicking on the IMG first? Then insert the link in the box that open, then click OK!

on your site, right click on the image and go to properties, then copy the info under "address". Paste that into the dialog box that comes up when you click img here.

Click the IMG button, then paste url into the box and hit ok- it will look like this without the quotes:

"
exportImage.asp
"

...and like this when posted:

:D

I experimented with your URL, and it looks like it does not allow external linking. You may have done it correctly!

Hi guys all pictures are beautiful!!!

I am glad for the new forum, the mushroom lover that I am.

Here is a picture of a couple of unusual specimens. I've been told they are "Indonesian Ricordias"? I was wondering if I could get that confirmed. They are fairly large mushrooms with a beautiful texture, but don't look much like the unusual florida/yuma ricordias.

What do you think guys...

Beautiful Meg. Very unusual.

Hey, can you PM me about your presentation? I never read any follow up on that topic.

Marc

Actually, I would PM you, but the 1st section of the presentation (Ethics and personal responsibility concerning fish) ran so long my presentation, as well as Dan's got postponed until the April meeting. It was overly optimistic to try and cover all 3 topics in one meeting. It was a very impassioned meeting though, many differing opinions. I will PM you with the results after our April meeting! Thanks for taking such an interest!

Sorry to get off topic everyone. Any ideas about my mystery mushrooms?

-Meg

I'm beginning to just love ricordias. Here's my pink ricordia that I'm trying to grow out to frag. I'm feeding him frozen prime reef. Hopefully it will help with growth. Seems to be doing fairly well so far. I only have a small single blue polyp, and a single tan polyp as well.

This is the same pic I've posted elsewhere.
