~Lets see your nano aquascaping~

maybe he's doing good by submerging it lol i think i read somewhere that they where using electric current throught Re Bar to create a small amount of electric current in the water, they said they saw corals growing better then ever. Wish i could remember where i saw that at. Well nice tanks everyone.

For those who are concerned about his Ebo-Jager heater (now the Co. is just called "Jager"), the water line indicator is just there as a "cover their butt" measure. Jagers are fully submersible. I myself and many others have had Jagers before and submersed them w/o any problems. Don't sweat it. :D

Nice tank,

Is that a remora and a cpr aqua fuge? Do you have any additional equipment? Did the mh light come with the compacts or did you have to diy?

You used to have a really neat eclipse tank (I think) do you still have it? And what did you light that tank with?

Thanks,

All the contents of the 12g Eclipse went into the 15g. I used a 2x32w Retrofit PC unit on the Eclipse.

The PFO hanging pendant has the MH with the PC's built in.

Yes, that is a 12" Aquafuge, and AquaC Remora on the back. I also have a Aquaclear 30 that I run from time to time when carbon is needed.

Skimmer is DIY, overflow from that runs into a refugium made from a 10 gallon. Center overflow from tank dumps into the corner of the sump. Skimmer does look big, but remember it's a nano, 19 gallons, 25 total system volume. Skimmer is about 26" high, but is a triple pass so no microbubbles.

But the skimmer does make some yummy skimmate.

DDS4, great start! I love to see a newer tank given the appropriate time period before it's impatiently loaded w/everything the owner can get its hands on. You're showing the self discipline which will lead to a wonderful display! Plus, you get to appreciate the smaller details about the current inhabitants (like the worm on the snail ;) which may get overlooked in a haphazardly stocked setup. It's funny, but I find myself loving my ball of yarn worms for countless hours, & most people would look at my tank & not even know they were there unless pointed out.

Thanks Wendy! I've read lots of advice from people who have been there to take things slow.

Trust me, it's SOOO hard not to buy everything in the fish stores.

I like to torture myself every now and then by window shopping.

hehe, we're a couple of gluttons! My downfall is the internet (Ocanrider, diver's den, platinum reefs, well, basically, any of the RC sponsors;^). This is the 1st time I've had only 1 sm tank, it's killin' me!

Hey Racenrich, cool 'scape. Are those sun polyps up high on the right? I always thought they liked shady areas. They just seem very close to your lights. How long have you had them?
