That's quite an extensive process to upload pictures...I'm just going to link to my thread to show them if that's okay. Below is a link to my 1/2 gallon pico reef, about 6 months old, featuring favid brain, pipe-organ tubipora, 3x sps acropora, blasto x3 varieties, hydnophora, caulasatrea yellow var. and blue var., zoanthids, xenia and isolated mushroom colony. To accomplish my aquascaping goals, I use a dremel to saw off tiny frags and over several month's time I cram them into any usable space in the tank. This is a modified betta-bowl tank called an "R" type aquarium. Lighting is 13watts x2, system is sealed with a glass lid to prevent any evaporation (requires no topoff) and uses an internal refugium to handle waste gasses and 02 production

wow, it took me a good hour to look through these pictures and i am impressed how they look and it really gives me inspiration for my nano. =)

Glad to hear it, many nanos in this thread have kept me going also.

thanks for the kind words guys!

wendy, i've had that piece for maybe a month or so. the growth edges have a lime green color to them, but sadly the mouths are still pinkish in color.

malice, yea i like that clown a lot, reminds me a killer whale

WN, setup is fairly simple.

no sump, just remora skimmer for filtration, 150w ocean light with 14k phoenix bulb, pan world pump on a closed loop through a jbj 1/5 hp chiller, reef fanatic auto topoff, ehiem compact powerhead and MJ900 for additional in tank flow. thats about it, after i fabricate a canopy i will most likely switch to a 10k bulb and run 2 18" VHO actinics.

i hope to add a couple more sps frags up top and my tank should hopefully be fully stocked.

how aggressive is the clown? I have heard they are more aggressive than other clowns... I have no fish in my tank and I am trying to see which ones get along with which, but I saw yours and I loved it :)
