So a few of us cannot make it to the meeting this Saturday, the coral order that the b.o.d put together came in with quite a few casualties which we are working on getting replaced but have not been received yet. We also wanted to add a topic For discussion to the meetings I am opening up the floor for thoughts, but we need to come up with the meeting move so I can warn fish pros thanks.

Just got this guy yesterday and he's a handful. I honestly don't think I can leave him alone on Saturday bc my fiancé is working.

I have my girlfriends state cup soccer tournament this weekend so i am also unable to make the meet if its on the first I am in favor of moving the date if possible.

My $0.02...

I think it's a little late to change the date. We are already stretching the 'meet every other month' limit.

I don't know what percentage of the group reads the thread every day. Hate to have people come and there be no meeting!

I don't have a problem waiting until next month, I planned to go to MAX in Socal April 5th and 6th but I can cancel and just go to MACNA (it was one or the other) my birthday is April 13th that would be the only bad weekend for me

I'm down to move the meeting but can also just wait till the next one..

Is there a list the club has for contact info of the active members? May be a good way to inform people who don't frequent the site daily about important threads or random things needing a majority that some miss or see late.. Like an active email list or something? Just a thought based on Johns comment..

Like I said I'm down to also moving the meet until April but it has to be any weekend after the 5 since I'll be coming back April 8 from Manila.

How about next week or the following? So far based on the main thread I count 8-9 members showing up. Generally there are 15 individuals on average. So I guess it could work? Who has club items (raffle tickets etc...)? Worst case scenario you have 8 members.

We should also consider the impact of moving the date on our host Fish Pros.

That said, I'd bet they'd prefer more people come to the meeting versus fewer. Changing the date to when attendance would be greater might be advantageous from their standpoint.

Just giving my two cents. It's 3pm and no decision has been made about the meeting. With the great graph created by Ron it seem it makes it even harder to please everyone on a date. Just like with all previous meetings we picked a date and hoped everyone makes it. I can't imagine Ron making another one of those graphs for every meeting just to make every member happy. I feel it's unprofessional to cancel this late and the meeting date has been set for a good amount of time. I'll try to make it out with an excuse to go out. Again these are my thoughts. Never know, they could have ordered a shipment of fish or corals hoping we were gonna have the meeting....

I am in agreement, even though it will probably be a small meet this time around. I hate to miss a meet but it happens. I'll try to make it before it's over.
