Levamisole In-Tank Treatment for AEFW

Anybody knows another site that has prohibit in stock and doesn't charge more than $10 for shipping? I see 2 sites have it for $20 and $7 for shipping but out of stock.
A 52gr bag of this is good for years.

American livestock - $20.75 shipped. Find my previous post about it. There was a $5 off coupon code to get the $20.75 price.

Yeah, I read your post and went to that site. But this is what they said
CALL FOR AVAILABILITY
Does it mean out of stock or I don't know the way to order?

Hey guys, new to r/c. Been following this thread since I found out I had these little suckers! Did my first dose of prohibit last sat. Will do anougther tomorrow morning. Most everything looks better afterwards. Did loose my red dragon though. A big thanx to the pioneers of this treatment!!! I dosed 2.5g on first dose, will increase it to 3G on this next dose? Hopefully rid my system of them! When I looked up Americanlivestock, it said the same thing, so I called them and they did have it in stock, but that was 2 weeks ago. I would call and ask.

I just added it to my cart and proceeded with my order. I did check "refund if out of stock" in case they didn't have it so I could get it somewhere else. But they had it.

Thanks. I sent them an email yesterday and I just got an answer from them, it was out of stock but they just release it this morning. Thanks.

I'm using 100% levamisole from inkmkr/Charles in my 120/100gls volume, third dose to my fourth without casualties(fishes or corals) and just changing GAC and skimmer without air line, no water changes. Levamisole in the tank for as long of 10hrs, every 5/6 days.

Added second dose half hour ago, I increased it to from 2.5 to 3.0 grams and I'm seeing the little buggers actually floating through the water this time. At 2.5 grams I had to baste to see them. Will start basting in a few mins, and see what flys off!!

Good deal scoly. Keep an wye on your fish and let us know how everything reacts.

So can we get an update?

What is the current dosage that everyone is using? I see a lot of people talking about upping the dosage but you have to dig to find out what they dosed prior and what gallonage they are dosing for.

Thanks!

I prepared/mixed 5grams of Levamisole in 3 cups of water for 300gls,
then I divide to 1 cup for each treatment(dose) I've a 100gls water volume.

I have a 185g tank with a lot of live rock. Sump is somewhere around 40-45g. One my first dose I used 2.5grams of prohibit. Second dose, I used 3.0grams. Fish act like they took the second dose alot better. They are out swimming already. After first dose, they didn't come out till the next day.

Yeah camel shrimp work but you cant add them to your tank , you have to have a QT tank. Take the infested coral and place it in QT tank for 20 to 30min and thay will eat all the AEFW and Eggs but if you leave it in there longer thay will eat the sps.

You can put them in the display and it will be fine if you feed the tank even reasonably on a daily basis. I put in 6 and they are fine. I also added a large cosmetus wrasse. Not only is the AEFW damage not expanding, corals recovering extremely rapidly.

I think it may help for people to expalin how bad their infestation was or is when they start the treatment. Also how agressive they were or are. I am thinking the treatment may be easier for people who have cut the numbers of worms down the best they can with dips and such rather than just treating a fully infested tank. (I understand not being able to dip is why your doing the treatment but some things probly can be pulled in most cases) I am following this thread and can't wait to see how it pans out.

Anyone with chalices having any trouble? I want to treat my
qt tank and I have a few high end chalices in there. Don't want to take any chances.
Thanks

I have around 9-10 different chalices, doesn't seem to bother them at all. Target fed them this morning, all feeders were out.
On a side note, has anyone else noticed that tangs seem to take longer to come back out than other types of fish? Even when they come back out, they act pretty jumpy.

Go back and find my link to amazon. It is for a scale that measures out to .00 grams.

It was about $15-20 shipped I believe. Seems pretty good, too.
