LF: Colorado Sunburst or Gonzo Inferno anemone

Anyone got a genuine Colorado Sunburst, Gonzo Sunburst, or Sexy Corals Rainbow anemone for sale?

They seem to be hard to find in the past few years. I got a SC Rainbow anemone from a guy in Pasadena or Alhambra at a reasonable price in 2014, but my tank wasn't mature enough back then. Looking to trying one again.

Here's it next to a regular generic rainbow or red BTA. It was insanely bright.

I haven’t used Facebook in years but my understanding is there are hobbyist groups on it that are not only able to offer these “designer” anemones for sale but also verify their lineage. If you post in the anemone section you willl probably get some tips on locating one.

Gonzo BTA is hard to get because Gonzo just moved and his systems are down currently. You have to wait till he establish again. I know he sells a batch every 3-4 months.

CSB waitlist is insane. every time it goes on sale price bids up.. $400 last couple years to $1200 this year

and don't forget. For now, the consensus is true CSB cannot mix with any other BTA in tank. Or they melt.

you can look for Nelson Tamisen on facebook for Coral Collection inferno.

Nelson CC CSB. This is not CSB from Ki. so I think it can stay in tank with other BTA

or Tyler Titan for Titan Inferno. which looks 100% like CC Inferno. Which looks almost 100% identical to the Gonzo inferno

Hmmm, interesting, I didn't know these rare BTAs can't live in same tank as regular ones. I just got a regular rainbow BTA last week.

ya.. rough lesson to learn. from my experience true CSB from Ki does not last long mixed. Specially if there's wild BTA in tank. CSB will melt. doesn't happen over night. They will shrink for 2-3 months and gone. Cipro treatment does not help.

there are BTA like Flametip or certain Inferno that does very well with other BTA.

I know Scott has a CSB with a family of rose anemone on the same rock in his display

I don't recall saying anything is rare. just telling OP the current price of the nem and where to find it.

let's see some OG lemon drops pictures! been awhile since I've seen anyone keep one alive. The only ones I see are morphed sunbursts

Sherman, Inferno, Flametip, Supernova, SC Rainbow, SC Signature are more common. no issue mixing those with any other BTA. But CSB melts and that's pretty common. I have kept them all. All potential CSB owners should be warned this. There's only a handful of people that can keep it alive in mixed tank.

Just sharing my experience as well. Kept them all also and never had a true Colorado sunburst nem melt or die due to other nems in the tank....fair to say we agree to disagree on csnems and their long term care. Just had to voice my opinion to help the op on his og thread.

Gonna blow my money on a DDM4V7 instead. Yes I had that much $ to spend.

I do know about melting anemones, had a blue gigantea, added a green one after antibiotic treatment and they both went downhill and melted.

Can a CSB do that?? Maybe.. but it'll make you cry if it did!
