LF: Matted Filefish

Been busy enough to let an aiptasia infestation get a little out of hand, and could use a matted filefish to help out. It's a 70 gallon reef with moderate bioload and a lot of coral, so I really don't want a heavy nipper.

I'm located on the peninsula and have a pretty flexible schedule. Willing to meet up somewhere around the Bay. If anyone's seen one at an LFS, I wouldn't mind a tip either.

Just beware they eat zoa

They have two more larger ones in brentwood at the new coral store on brentwood blvd and central ave. I just picked up the small one

I put 3 peppermint shrimp in my 60 gallon mixed reef and they took care of my aptasia problem! They were good tankmates too !

PM's replied. Thanks for the heads up about the zoa issue-- I'll make sure to take some preemptive measures to avoid any unwanted nipping there.

I already tried some peppermint shrimp that were assured to me to eat aiptasia, but no luck there.

My matted filefish has wiped about 8-10 aptasia I had in 2 days. There is one baby aptasia left under a mushroom i have and will prob superglue it. My matted file fish will be for trade soon!
