ReefCentral deleted my old account.......BUT, Im returning to the hobby after a 4 year hiatus... I dismatled my 30gal reef, went back to school, got married, moved to FLA, got a new job, and a new apartment. Its a small apartment, so Im going to crank up an old 7gal MiniBow that I used as quarantine, as my main tank.
I have all the old equipment from the 30gal...PM Hot-1 Skimmer, UV, Powerheads, 10 gallon sump. Smuggled some St.Maarten sand from the honeymoon and Im ready to crank it up.
My question is, Do you have any suggestions on what PC lighting setup I might look for... Preferrably keeping the original hood, as it looks pretty sleek. But will gladly change the hood for something that looks good too... My main concern for the hood is keeping the wife happy with the aestetics (Not JerryRigged).
Oh and this will be nothing major, some shrooms, Star polyps.... A Hippo Tang (just kidding about the tang
