Lighting ???

I was wondering if anyone has tried using VHO's over clams without MH's ? I have seen SPS, LPS, and Softies kept under VHO's succesfully ! Just wondering if anyone has tried clams under VHO's under a lets say 12" tank !

I've had a maxima in my 29 for around 6 months. Seems to be going good. It's my first clam so its hard to tell. Has shown good growth. I just recently upgraded to 250watt mh and 150watt vho.
