Lights... hit me...

How am I twisting your words? I'll do YOUR tank if you insist:

48" 4x54w ATI Sunpower $469.95.

Bulb replacements $80/year.

Break even on your $800 in 4.1 years.

Bulb replacements $80/year...how do you replace 6 or 8 bulbs for $80 a year pls? How much are you paying for each one? $25 perhaps? If you can show me a reputable supplier in the US that sells 4' t5 ho's for half that price delivered, you may have a point. Until then, you do not.

My kessil lit tank still beats that over 5 yrs ...and grows with every additional yr.

What post about that came before mine? Did someone else post a thread like that?

Yes, exact same thread, which I posted on the previous page. Almost like you used it as an excuse to vent your rage from this thread.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I posted my orig "keep it simple" thread months ago..I reposted it WITH WORKING pictures again.

What are you whining about?

Read what I wrote, its a 4x54w. Four bulbs. Your tank runs on sub 100PAR at 12", an 8 bulb Sunpower would melt everything you have. Four bulb average PAR at 12" is 172.

Show me where you posted the exact same thread as my "keep it simple" ones pls.

I'll wait.....

The BRS video clearly shows what the Kessil a360 can do... and its there in the numbers in the vid. Its VERY clear.

The numbers for two kessils actually exceeded ATI's in most parts of the tank.

"You then stated in a later post that you "stand by the comment" that you never edited your post"
Bull. Show me where I that. I didn't..

Trump school..
Trump U grad are you? I graduated from McGill with an MBA. (say I am arrogant..whatever. I also have almost 3 decades experience with reefs)

Having to spell this out for you is just lame.
You still have not shown where I lied. Show me a lie pls. You can't because I did not lie.
Talk about lame....

Are you being purposefully obtuse?

No ..I do not want to, or need to, edit my post. I stand by that comment

That quote was also in my post with the pics, if you would actually read rather than just posting in a blind rage.

I'm not sure Slief's tank is a good comparison for you to use. He has six Mitras (which are probably the best LED lights out there) over that tank along with two Kessil's (which he just said earlier he wants to change out for two more Mitras). Those lights have six pucks each and use a reflector which other more common LED's do not. So in order for him to have his ideal setup he needs $750 x 8 over the tank, or $6000. It's a really sweet setup but that's a lot of bulb changes.

lol..not going to work

Show the Kessil 2 fixture chart at 6" please...like I have my tank setup with 2 kessils.. and how most who run them do at 6 -8".
The inner band clearly exceeds any of the ATI numbers. The middle band of the 2 fixture kessils at least matches your ati peak numbers..anywhere.
And the middle between the two fixtures at 6 "also exceeds the ATI. Clearly exceeds them.

Comparing one kessil at 12" to a 4' ati is clearly unfair. Use 2 kessils and use the chart that shows 2 kessils at 6" please.

Its a great example to use...he is using 100% LEDS. And he ran that tank with kessils only if I am not mistaken for the vast majority of its life.

Did those sps just spring to life recently? lmao

lmao. You're running 2 Kessils over a 4ft tank, thats 1 Kessil every 24" or 2ft.

BRS never did "2 fixture one" there is no point.

The ATI is Green shaded >200PAR the Kessil never reaches it, ANYWHERE.

They did two fixtures but on a four foot tank if I remember correctly. So one per 24" seems fair to me, and we are only comparing to the lowest number of bulbs ATI fixture.

He clearly had more than two kessils on that tank. Go back to the earlier posts. Look at the pics...multiple kessils.

Yes he said you needed more Kessils. Has the penny dropped?

They test each light in a 24x24 cube. One light. Its the same for every light. The length of the light makes no difference, its the same per 24".

BRS did not test 2 Kessils over a 24" area. They tested 1 Kessil over a 24" area, the exact same setup you have.

4ft divided by 2 is 2ft. Still with me? Thats 1 Kessil per 2ft of tank.

OMG..this going to be good. Just let me download a screen capture app..and I will prove you wrong...right from BRS's own vid.

You should have gone back to look because they clearly posted the 2 fixture numbers.
