Likely cause of fragspawn shrinkage?

I have had a Frogspawn with about 4 heads for the last 6-8 months. It is doing fine (as in not dieing) the whole time but the heads only come out about 1/4", if that. E.g. tiny.

What would the most likely cause of this be? Chemistry is all fine from SPS standards. Unsure about light strength. Unsure about adequate or too much flow. Nothing picks at it.

When I had one in my tank, and had the same problem, it was getting to much flow. I moved it to the area of my tank with the least amount of flow and it started doing great.

Most likely too much flow. They particularly do not like being blown in one direction by strong flow.

haha, couldn't help myself after seeing "shrinkage" in the title.

I agree with above it is most likely too much flow or too much direct laminar flow. My 2nd guess would be something around it stinging it. Lastly, too much light, but it would have to be a lot imo.

I would agree. too much flow.. happened to mine. Put it in an area with medium flow and now it's thriving.
