List of fish and critters that are sensitive to copper.

I just posted one in the Fish Disease forum. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2635979
It's a useful med.
I've not needed a marine med in a very long time. Like eighteen, nineteen years.
But copper is at the very bottom of the list of meds I would use if I needed one. Some people do use it successfully; and Cupramine is a copper treatment that tries to make it safer to use---ie, better regulation of the dose, good instructions---but it does not mean it's safe with the species that are unable to handle copper.

Thanks fort posting here.

I haven't used copper in at least as long as you, and had at best limited success with it then.

There are plenty of well researched methods for disease treatment that are sooo much less stressful than copper. TTM comes to mind

So how are you supposed to treat ich in wrasses, or dragonets. Apart from hypo which I did not have luck with.

The Tank Transfer Method (TTM) has been found to be 100% effective. and uses no chemicals at all. All you have to do is use the Ich parasites own life cycle against it.

Most folks don't qt dragonettes. They are unlikely carriers of disease, and they need a constant supply of pods to live.
