Im running a 29 gal eclipse filtration, no sump, AquaC skimmer, 55lbs LR, and 3" sandbed, 10 gal water change every 2 weeks.

My livestock consists of:

1 true perc 1"
1 firefish goby 1.5"
1 golden sleeper goby 1.5
1 banghai cardinal 2"
1 sixline wrasse 1"
1 blue tang 1.5" (soon to be in a new home)
1 lawnmower blenny

6 corals

Inverts:
2 cleaner shrimp
1 BTA
1 tube anemone
5 hermits
5 small snails

The question is that I really want a mate for my true perc, and I wanted to ask your opinions on this, will 1 more fish be too many.

IMO, i'd say you have too much already. You really need to get the tang out. Not only will he outgrow it quickly but they poop alot! He will definitely put a nig nurden on your bioload. Without the tang, you could probably get away with another clown.

2 less fish would be too many. You're already way over what I'd consider feasable. Get the tang in a new home. Hope that your wrasse and blenny don't starve. You really don't want a "mate" for your perc... it's not going to mate, it's going to fight to defend it's territory.

How long has the tank been up?

my tanks been up for about 3 months, and its doing great, parameters are good and stable, fish eat well and healthy, blenny eats brine shrimp and flakes along w/ its normal HA, wrasse is probably the only one munching on the vast # of copepods among the flakes and brine, I wasnt really meaning a mate I would just like to have a pair.

i have a 20g w/ 2 oc clowns..and that is it
i think you have too many fish
i know i can use more but i have plenty of time to stock fish

Yeah, you sure can use some more, sounds kinda boring, hopefully you have some coral or something else to look at.
