Local source for water storage container/mixing station

Sweet. I bought 2 of the blue 55 gal food grade water barrels and linked them at the bottom with 1 inch uni seals and PVC. I have a 1 inch gate valve outlet at the bottom which is connected to a quick connect for my pump I run externally plummed to my sump for water changes . I have a float valve in the sump connected to the water change in and another float valve in one of the barrels connected to my rodi with a shark bite valve to not have it fill once salt is mixed. I keep the barrels heated and circulated and its located in a closet near my tank. I also bought a remote controlled outlet for fun connected the the external pump of the water change system ,so I can start the process and end it without leaving to go unplug the pump.. After a big crash a few years back where I lost lots of sps dew to not having enought ready saltwater to mitigate the crass. I learned my lesson. I have a 1.5inch stepper bit that drills plastic containers perfectly in seconds. Along with the deburring tool to make it easy. Let me know if you go that route and want to borrow the bit.

40 gallon. 1/4" water inlet with float valve shutoff in lid. $20. Petaluma pickup or I can bring to meeting.

That 40 gallon isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I want something other than brute cans for a few reasons. The brute cans aren't very space efficient. My garage is crowded with my other hobbies and space savings is important. The other issue is that I don't like the lids on the brute cans. I want a tighter fitting lid to ensure garage stuff stays out of the water. I'm rebuilding an old car so there are lots of fumes/dust/etc being thrown around.

I'm really wanting a 55 gallon or so container so that 1 bag of salt (50 gallon) will be used for each batch.

Oh and about the containers... Tractor supply has some nice options. A bit pricey, but it would be exactly what you are looking for.
