Hey Karsseboom!! :wave: Thank you for the compliment. Its been a little over a year now....
Here you are... If you have any other questions let me know
Tank =40g Breeder with a 20g l sump
Filtration= Bubble Magus NAC6, Running carbon (3/4 cup) and GFO (1.5cups) which i change out every 2 weeks
Maintenance= I do 7-10g water changes with reef crystals which i mix up 65g at once. Have a 15g ATO which tops off the tank with kalkwasser. Change out my filter sock every 3 days. Clean the skimmer head every 3 days. Before i do my water change i baste all the rocks to remove as much detritus as i can. I test alk every other day and i have to add some 2part to raise it from time to time. Demands are getting high lol.
Flow= MP10 running 100% on random mode, mag 9.5 for a return which is turned down 25%, have a small powerhead hidden under the rocks which is rated at 400gph, and have a koralia 1250 along the right side.
Fish= 3 chromis, midas blenny, baby clown, twin spot hogfish, and sadly a yellow tang ( i DO NOT WANT HIM IN HERE, but my friend had him and the pet store would not take him back and it was either toss him in my tank for the time being or his purple would have killed him) Sadly i think hes stuck in the tank because there is no room to net him. This upsets me as i have a 180g downstairs i would move him to there is just no way to do it w/o damaging any of my corals

Took a few months to get the tank cycled and settled down. Lots of manualalgae removal and water changes

Everything is sat under a Phoenix 14k on a hqi ballast with 2-65wthe PC actinic bulbs

I I actually have 2 colonies, you can see the otherone plating out in the center. There are too many frag racks in there currently(im waiting on getting my floor done before I fill my 180+frag tank hence the 3 frag racks haha)

As ffor the corals I received most of them from fellow reefers with established tanks. With that said they were all pretty colorful, aside from a few of course. Some keep them on their frag racks in lighting they don't like so some needed to adjust and color up. I received a few through shipping and they came in brownso those took a few months to get everything back. A mature tank definitely helps nonetheless

I have a 40 gallon breeder as well. Wish it looked as nice as yours-Going through some issues right now. I have a 12k 250w halide and I'm thinking I need to cut the amount of time its on down a couple of hours.

Hey Veosk!
I have my atinic bulbs on for 9hrs and my 250wMH on for 7hrs.
The tank has been up about 16months now. :celeb1:
