My female clown has had a brown marking around her gill (only on one side). I'm thinking it may be an infection or a result of being stung by corals it randomly hosts in (although it's only a single occurrence). It has been around for about 6 months and was previously twice this size, but I haven't been able to completely get rid of it.
I've had this fish for ~10 years and it's behavior is normal and is otherwise in great health.
My current 'treatment' is good water quality and a mixed diet.
I would appreciate any thoughts!
