this one shows how wide of an angle I can get:

Equipment used:
Nikon D70
Nikon 10.5mm F/2.8 Fisheye Lens
Feisol Carbon Fiber Tripod / Ball Head
Remote Shutter Release

Feisol is great! Only gripe is the ballhead is way too beefy for my application. It weighs more than the legs, and is able to hold weight far beyond what I need. I'm thinking of getting a manfrotto compact ballhead to replace it.

With the lenses I currently have, I'll never need that much support =(

Otherwise it's an awesome setup. Ball head is easy and accurate to use, legs are very light and sturdy. I can lean up against the tripod when taking pictures, showing really how much weight it can really stand.

Glad to hear. I actually visited their retailer and bought the bigger ballhead for myself and the smaller one [with tripod] for a friend of mine that was in need of support :p
Did you get the bigger [non-cf] ballhead too?

I just got the 50 model, which holds 41lbs or something =P

Itself weighs 1.16lbs or something, but it feels so HEAVY! But I guess it really isn't compard to other ballheads.

I thought the small one was excellent for someone who doesn't have anything longer than a 70-210 f2.8. It's a very nice compromise between weight and sturdiness. Unfortunately with stability comes weight, at least to some extent.

it is really nice, but I think what I meant was the ballhead is so heavy in comparison to the rest of the tripod, that it's totally top heavy. But overall it is MUCH lighter tripod than any I've tried.

awsome pictures, love the bridge shots, next time im in sydney(Aust) id like to get some nice shots of the Harbour bridge and opera house with the city lit up behind it. also...is that the golden gate bridge in those shots???

WOW, Great stuff! I like the last one, if you had taken that shot at the time (or 5min earlier) of the second, then the blue sky would have been awesome! I want a fisheye now!!
