I have been looking everywhere online for a Blue Carpet Anemone and have had no luck. Anyone out there know of one for sale? If so can you point me in the right direction. Thanks
Depends on where you are, it can take years to find the anemone you wanted. If it is just days to weeks that you have been hunting for one, be more patient.I have been looking everywhere online for a Blue Carpet Anemone and have had no luck. I spoke to Bob at ibluewater.com and decided to get a purple long tentacle anemone instead of the Blue Carpet. He was very helpful and I trust they will deliver as promised.
My tank is only 6 months old and the long tentacle is a little more hearty. Maybe will switch it out down the road for the Blue Carpet. Appreciate all your help. Thanks for the suggestion on ibluewater.
I live in Charlotte, NC. He sent a picture of the actual specimen and said the quarantine process ends next Thursday. They will overnight for Friday delivery.
I think Aquatic Connection has some but I've never ordered anything from them. I'd be hesitant to order something as fragile as a haddoni/gig/mert anemone without first asking around about prior experiences.
I had placed an order of a blue haddoni with them beginning of April. Waited till mid may and no carpet so i cancelled my order. As of today I still haven't got my refund and it's being handled by amex dispute Dept.
I would not trust them. Period...
Are you looking for a haddoni or a gigantea carpet? Shopping online for a carpet anemone is usually not the best way to go. Carpets ship poorly and you are relying on someone else you ship you a carpet that is healthy in the first place.
Ask your local fish store to look around the wholesalers for you.
