Looking for a clown who likes RBTA

Hey guys, I'm in NY, I have a tank raised ocellaris who wouldn't get near the RBTA. I'm looking to pair it with compatible clown that has been hosted by an RBTA. Anyone is selling?

Really maroons are the natural host match, and some say clarki's, not positive if that is true but I'll say clarks take to any nem most of the time anyway.

If you are looking for an established occ or perc that has adapted to a BTA you'll have to check the local club section here towards bottom of forums page, buting and selling is not permitted in this forum.

Maroon is #1. I had a RBTA already in the tank and when I was acclimating the maroon in the bag, it was trying to bite its way out of the bag to get to the nem

I have a Maroon and a Clarkii in a 180. The Clarkii is with a LTA while the Maroon bounces back and forth between 3 RBTAs

Most agree that list needs to be corrected and occs are not a natural match to BTA, neither are percs, BUT, that does not mean they can not adapt, just usually takes longer, sometimes never.
I would not try to mix anything other than a perc or occ to your existing occ either.

my ocy pair took 9 months to enter the RBTA, it took less than a min for my gold strip maroons to go into the RBTA.

And vice versa if you gave your occs a mag or gig or hadonni they probably would have entered just as quickly.

From my experience and reading maroons and clarkis host instinct is so strong they will hop in just about anything, including non host nems such as condy's.

BTAs are natural hosts for the following species Maroons, A. melanopus, A. clarkii (all or at least some of the species lumped together under this name), A. akindynos and A. chrysopterus (all or at least some of the species lumped together under this name)

Tomato, Maroon, Bicinctus, Akindynos, Allardi and Wide Band (Latezonatus) will all work in a BTA. and Clarkii. My understanding is that Clarkii is the only clown capable forming a relationship with ALL host anemones in the wild.
