Looking for an anemone

I can't imagine doing water changes on all those tanks.

Most everything except for the 65 and 29 are tied into one system. Water changes are fairly automated. Requires adding salt, turning on the mixing pump, and open a few valves. Besides this is my primary hobby and I have ADD. I could never sit down and watch TV...Instead I like to bounce from room to room playing with the tanks...Then periodically check RC on the pc.

How is your 65 gallon carpet tank like? Whats in it? I would be interested in seeing some pictures.

Its a 65 gallon with 2 175 watt halides and 2 actinic t5s. It has a seperate sump with a old LifeReef skimmer. Its still in its infantcy. Its just running with the LR and cleanup crew right now. I want it to cycle for a few months before I add the anenome. It will probably be a S haddoni. Haven't quite figured it out yet. I would show pics but its pretty boring right now. Just wait though

I re did the lighting and put a single 175 MH and a 65 PC

I would like something a little more exotic is this system. Something that cant normally be kept in a reef. Anthony Calfo once told me that an anenome has no place in a reef tank. I have been going by that since...The only exception has been the large RBTA in my reef.

...that's nonsense IMO, why would an anenome have no place in a reef. if not in a reef, then where...? there are plenty here that have great reef tanks w/ nems...:rollface:

Stevewest for example has a gigantea in his macdaddy reef. One of the best reefs I have ever seen too.

Oh I know Gary M had a nem' dominant tank and it made TOTM. But the science behind what Calfo said is solid.

Yes. If it accepts food that often without any noticeable negative side effects, that should be fine. Be sure to feed it at smaller pieces, though.
