Looking for Ice Gel superglue

Due to my recent high frequency fragging ;), I run out of Ice Gel superglue. I know, I should have bought a bunch for 5 bucks each during Bar swap. Does anyone have some extras that I can buy in South Bay? Any fish store in the area carries them? Thanks.

Oh that sucks. Hope you find some soon tong. I talked to my buddy, sat sounds like a good time to drop by around 3pm or so...

OH yeah.. HAPPY FRAGGING.. you deffinetly need to make room in that tank of yours....so you can get more stuff ...

I just ordered IC gel for the club and have a ton at my house. If you can make it up to alamedaish this weekend I could sell you some. LMK.

RR :D

If you come to my house, you can have my two tubes :) .. Or maybe I can ship it to you so you don't have to drive here :D

Ray, thanks for the info.

Rich, thanks for the offer, but Alameda is kind of far just for the glue.

Charles, see you on Wednesday. You know me, once started fragging, just can't stop it :D.

Phong, I will take up your offer. When is a good time for me to come?

Hey Tong,
I have one extra tube. We can meet at Panera before 11:00 tomorrow if you are interested.

Tap Plastics sells an CA based gel glue that works great (just like IC gel), we use it all of the time. Atlantis sells BSI (or they did the last time we checked -- and bought some there ourselves). Call around to your LFS, AAF in Pleasant Hill carries one of the "aquarium" brand IC gels, so an LFS near you may also. Any hobby store will sell IC gel by the large bottle.

Hi Andy, thanks much for the offer. But with the two tubes from Phong, I think I have enough to satisfy my fragging urge for a long time to come :D.

Tom, thanks for the info. I will check out Tap pastics tomorrow. If I can buy it there, it saves me the drive to Phong's house, and Phong will not hate me when he is sure that he has rid of his AEFW and ready to frag away again :D

David, this is amazing. At one moment, I cannot find any anywhere. The next minute the glue seems to be popping up everywhere :D. I am going to drop off some frags to Tyler on Monday, maybe I can buy it then. Too many choices now :eek1: .

:D that's what we are here for...
Not everyone in SJ go to the meeting so I always pick extra incase someone needs it :D

The stuff at Tap Plastics comes in a tube that they normally have in a long thin rectacular box, with a blue label, hanging on an end cap (at least that is how it in at our Tap Plastics). They run 6.95 for a pretty large tube, but it may have gone up since the last time we bought (We bought 5 tubes the last time, and are finally down to our last full one :)).

And that hobby store that was mentioned should carry the IC gel. Just ask where their modelling glue section is and start browsing. :). We bought a bottle from a local hobby store here and use it from time to time. Just be sure to read the labels and descriptions as they have many different types of glue in those shops :). Our bottle has a maroon/reddish label and is a flat bottle (same shape as the bottles that the test kits reagents come in).

HTH :)

Next to our old location in San Tomas Plaza.

Go to the back of the store in the remote control department. Get the "Insta-Cure" Thick. Something like $9 for a big 4 ounce bottle.

See You Monday,

tyler

PS. Call them to check their hours because they close early sometimes

I'll have to drop by... but then I'll see Dolphin and have to drop in... and then I'll buy a frag or two... and I'll get in trouble with the wife...and then.... This is worse than give a mouse a cookie.

Im a Loctite gel man myself, thicker than most but the packages are a pain, the trick is to get a pair of pliers and sqeeze every bit out.........I love the clerks face when I roll up with 10 packages...........even more when I tell them I am hosting a glue sniffing party. In the end, its easier for them to believe that rather than for what I tell them it is REALLY for.

Everytime.....its this confused smushed up face of a response...."Coral?????" ......

Never gets old I tell ya......
