Looking for Ideas: Aquascaping

Tank dimensions are 96' x 24' x 48' tall. Overflow is in the center of the aquarium as this will be a walk-around, viewable from all four sides. It is going to be a reef aquarium, likely with a mix of fresh live rock and aragocrete.

I have a few concepts in my head as to how to aquascape the system but wanted to see if anyone else was willing to offer any ideas.

So, any thought?

with those dimensions its difficult to aquascape......width is the most desirable property. I would suggest building a pillar of rock, or a central raised section. Thats preety much all I can suggest.

By using zip ties and or PVC you could make a very open structure to allow fish to pass through, or a block like structure to allw coral attachment.

here is a similar tank to yours:

hope that helped some.

Thanks Paul for the rapid reply. A couple of pillars is what I have in mind as well.

I should have mentioned two additional points:

First is that this installation is for a client and, as much as I have tried to talk him into something wider, I am married to these dimensions.

Second, my desire is to conceal the overflow without the rock leaning on it. That is why I am considering aragocrete, but would like to consider alternative ideas.

cut lengths of eggcrate, zip tie them to make a sheath for the overflow. Slide it over, attach rocks.
