looking for nice aquascaping ideas

Here is my 120g that I started a few months ago. Marcorock put together with putty.

My new tank has been a success so far with sps. Lots of open spaces for flow to really get around the rock and prevent detritus. It's also nuice that corals can be placed almost 360 degrees around the islands.

I'd go with the two island look. I'd probably put one island toward the back of the tank and the other closer to the front with a divide in the middle.

The best thing I've learned about Aquascaping is twofold: keep as much open water as possible, and provide as much surface area for corals. By this I mean like a bonsai inspired aquascape, something minimalistic, yet provides lots of room. Try to limit points of overlapping in your liverock.

The picture I've attached is a great example, however it is not mine. I'll try and post mine soon.

Lastly, it really doesn't matter what your live rock looks like when your corals are huge and dominate the tank! Just have fun with it and see how it goes.

Wow, fantastic! That's my favorite style! I love the horizontal look favoring open water and PLENTY of growing room for coral. Looks like you have a pretty big tank, so aquascaping must have been awesome! Very nice, and a very nice example!
