loooove the 6000's

just got my 2 tunze stream 6000's hooked up to my multicontroller yesterday. i picked them up from goochs corals in greenbay. i must say i am verry impressed, the 2 streams combined with a 3/4 sea swirl return in my 75g AGA RR tank combine to create some massive flow. first i had them just pulsing from 30% to 100% which worked well but the sand in the middle front of the tank sorta blew away leaving me with a 2"x 3" rectangle of bare bottom. i didnt really care but i wanted to try the other modes so i switched them to alternating every min. along with the 30-100% pulse. man that is some great flow. just had to say i love your product so far

I, too, received two 6000s and am using them in conjunction with a 1" Sea Swirl to great effect. Unfortunately for me, I must a wait a few weeks for the backordered multicontroller to arrive. Nevertheless, I'm quite pleased with the flow even without the multicontroller, as are my SPS - some of which immediately exhibited even greater polyp extension.

To top it all off, the Streams are color coordinated with my Tunze glass cleaning magnet

I just ordered the 6010 kit and very excited. I have some rock that peaks up near top of tank all the way left and will try to hide it behind the peak....we will see...

Since you enjoy reading these, Roger offers the best customer service in the industry IMO, since he does such a great job maybe you can send some extra units into the US

Mracroman, we already get more than our fair share really, the problem is everywhere. It takes any business a few months to adjust to growth, even the LFS I own is this way, unfortunately it takes about the same time to adapt to loss of business too. Things are improving, theis is a handsome pile of stuff here with my name on it so I am pleased. The Stream more than doubled the demand for Tunze products as it put the name back on the front page and it just will take some time but I can see real progress in the delivery times and quantities so I know it will get better. I actually will be building a batch of Electronic Streams myself on Wednesday- now you will know where the defective ones come from- LOL.

So I The Locust, I take it you don't think that the two streams are too much for your tank? I am thinking about the same type of configuration on my 90 Gal.
