love-hate-relationship w/ maroon clown & purple lobster

In Memoriam
my maroon clown has a love-hate-relationship with my purple reef safe lobster... my clown will go after the lobster but my clown does NOT bite it... when the lobster is in its hole in the rock and he has his claws open and just sticking out a little the clown will just open his jaws and almost looks like he just tries scaring it or will push its claws.. when i move my rock around the clown will chase the lobster and do the same thing but this time just shove it away basically by pushing its tail even if the lobster isnt in the clowns territory..
(the clown opens its jaws the same way he opens them when he moves a small rock and pushes the same way)
-anyone have this problem or no why my fish does this

maroon clowns are vary taritoryal and i seaing your lobster as a thret or a rock thay dont like my black and white clowns that redecorate my 125 g tanke almost dayle every time i checkto see what thay have moved the knight befor.

I had a female Maroon that did the same thing to a Harlequin shrimp the first few days I put the shrimp in. She got too close & the shrimp pinched her mouth one good time.
That was all it took for her to ignore it & accept it as no threat.
