Hello REEFCENTRAL! :wavehand: Well I have a regular 29 gallon tank. Dimensions are 18" tall by 30" long by 12" wide. My tank has been up for about 5 months and I currently have a RBTA, but I know they are more forgiving and easier of the anemones. My parameters are 0 Nitrate, 0 Nitrite, 0 ammonia, 8.1 PH, and 82*f temperature. Im debating between 2 light setups which are obviously better than my lighting now. Please give me feedback on what anemone I'd be able to have with either or lighting fixture. THANKS RC and tell me if you'd need any more information. :spin1:

Lighting fixture 1: Clamp on lamp 150 watt MH with XM 20k bulb.

Lighting fixture 2: 30" T5 Lighting HO with 2 LED's 96 watts with 2 24 watt antic blue bulbs and 2 24 watt 12,000k bulbs.

Thanks!

Well, they both get pretty big, maybe too big for that tank very quickly for one, and 2, are you planning to keep existing BTA?(And even the BTA may outgrow tank)
I would try to keep temp no higher than 82, and maybe a tad lower if you can, I'm at 78-80 max

I got mine from donisreef.com
Last I heard she was dealing w/ some family issues, and I think nothing was posted, but haven't checked, maybe back in gear.
Haven't seen her on the boards lately, so not sure.

lol yea heard her stuff goes really fast, so i'll try and see what I can get :)

Ps- I know that most anemones eat silversides, What are silver sides? Are they like minos, do you get them at the local fish store? and how do you prepare them to feed the anemone? THANKS again

I don't like silvers anymore, but to answer you Q similar to anchovies/minows.
I feed only raw shrimp or scallop, and not even that often, mysis during fish feeding.
