Both mine were not extremly sticky when i got them. You could feel that they were sticking somewhat. Now though they get stuck to my hand if i just brush by them. Super glue little buggers. I would give it some time to adjust to your tank and settle in. Feed it real we'll and it will get sticky and bigger.
Is it attached in the sand yet?
I actualy have it in a QT basket so my clowns and domino will not bug it. It is however attached to the basket. The LFS was feeding it silversides and sait it ate well so i am hopefull I found a healthy one.
I placed it in my tank thisafternoon and it attached to a rock crack almost instantly. he also ate 1/2 of a small silverside shortly after attaching. i am super stoked.
