I have a LTA that wasn't attached to anything for a good while. He looked like he was stuck in a hole of sand that the clown fish made .Well this morning right before work I decided that I would move him to a better place. When I put my hand down to swoosh it,the female clown went in his mouth.I put it where I thought it would be a good place and all I could see is the clown fish moving inside the LT.I was late for work plus I remember seeing a video of clown fish going in and out of the mouth. so I figured she was probably going to make her way out.Well when I got home the LT's tenticles are flat and the dead clown was on side of him.Do you guys think the LT is hurt on the inside? And yeh I did remove the dead clown.

first of all sorry to hear about the loss of the clown. i would imagine that if the clown was really bumping around in there then there could be some internal damage. only time will tell, so keep the water as clean as possible and keep a close eye on the anem.

I would have left the clown. It's pretty much a food source at that point. If the mouth is so big that the clown swam into it, that's not such a good sign.
EDIT: Sorry to sound like a grim reaper. That really sux.

Thanks Guys..One more question about this,What would be the best thing to do about purchasing another saebe clown?Get a bigger one than him that away the bigger one can turn into a female? And also what is the best way to introduce her to the tank with him? Ok that was more than one more question.LOL

I would follow the natural course. Get a juvie and let him take the female rank.
