Birdsnest is very hardy and it grows super fast, you shouldn't need to do much but keep your parameters on check as you are already doing. I always loved Birdsnest I think that might be my next purchase.

I actually have a tidal gardens 10 minutes from my house. I guess this a widely known company for corals. The store owner had a bunch of different colors of birdsnest. I wouldn't mind having another one with a different color.

It has been awhile since I have posted. Life has caught up with me and has been a little busy. Tank is going well. I never want to say it is going amazing because I don't want jinx myself haha. I just got my Tunze nano ato and my custom caddy baskets delivered today. I am super excited about the tunze nano ato.

.......my 22 bow and at least short term it seems to be enough light. Two of my birdsnests are doing really well (neon green and purple). The third (pink/yellow) is hanging in there but not showing growth. I think I may have found a place for it now. The neon green and purple are both top shelf, just off center from the light. The pink/yellow didn't seem to like being that close to the light. I'm running it at about 60% intensity and the same color. I, too, really like birdsnests!

Get the AI Prime HD, it's a good light for the price.
I was only able to snag an AI prime do you think I'll be fine with this?

Yuppp, :thumbsup: post a picture once it's up and running. That's a nice light.
it will be here on Thursday! I also got a refractometer for 30 bucks. so I am going to start making my own salt water. I will be using red sea coral pro salt.

Arms should grow back.
I hope so, I was looking up on how to check if they are dead and they said flip it upside down and if it's alive it will flip back over. I did this last night and it was still upside down this morning.

Thanks! Yeah it kind of sucks it died so quickly because it was doing work on my diatoms like big time. But at the same time I heard they eat a lot of the good stuff in your sand bed. So maybe I needed to take it out anyway. I just wished I could given it back to LFS rather than having it get chomped to death.
