Just thought I'd better start a new thread on my new tank before I overrun my 58gal thread.

Well this is what is going on.

I JUST BOUGHT A BIG TANK!!!!! Paid about 1/2 of what the tank alone should cost!

200 gallon ~170 internal dimensions
4'x4'x20"
3/4 acrylic
powder coated stand
internal overflow
still wrapped in paper
filled once to test the bulkhead fittings.

When we get a house we are going to put both 58gals (mine and Mrs. Lunchbucket's) into one tank. We have 90-95% of the stuff. Will just need rock, sand, and salt...oh and some MORE livestock (clams and corals). Travis get some frags growing for me I'll NEED them!!

Here is the plan for our SPS and Clam System

Flow
Return Pump - 55RLT (have it on my 58gal as a CL pump)
CL Pump - Dart?? Need to buy one...which one not sure?
OM 4way for holes in back of tank (have on my 58gal)
2x Streams (from my tank. One is a 6100 and one is a 6000 I think)

Lighting
2x 400w 20k Halides (have on my 58gal)
4x 4ft VHO actinics (on Mrs. Lunchbuckets tank)
2x Blue Party Lights for Moon light

Sump
I'm thinking a rubbermade stock tank in the basement maybe?
Fuge - Built into sump or separate? W/ Cheato

Filtration, Etc
LR - From Mrs. Lunchbucket's tank and adding more. Not sure how many lbs or what kind yet. Any suggestions?
Deltec AP701 Skimmer
Deltec PF501 Ca Rx.
Two Little Fishes Phosphate Rx w/ Rowaphos
Two Little Fishes Phosphate Rx w/ Carbon

Cooling
1/10 HP chiller (I have on my 58gal) Upgrade sometime
Fans Above tank and on sump
Sump in Basement for cooling
Window AC in Fish Room to remove humidity and cool room extra

Shallow Sand bed
Built into a wall hopefully. Not sure if it will be viewable from 1 or 3 sides. Most likely 1 side.

Stock List
Yellow Tang (I have now)
2x Occelarus Clowns (I have now)
1x Bangaii Cardinal (I have now)
1x 6line Wrasse (I have now)
1x Yellow Eye Kole Tang (from wifes tank when she gets the fish)
2x Maroon Gold Stripe Clowns " "
1x Fire Fish (wife has)
4x Cleaner shrimp (we both have 2 in our tanks now)
4+ Peppermint shrimp
1x Blood Shrimp (wife has)

Wishful stock list
1x Atlantic Blue Tang
1x Achilles Tang
1x Powder Blue Tang (??? Probably not)
Full Size angel Emperator? Probably not going to risk it in an SPS/clam tank

We need to wait to get a house FIRST before we finalize any plans but this is the idea as of now.

Enough Rambling. Help me find what LR to use and figure out what CL pump to use. Other than that we have everything else we need!!

These are the only pics I have of the tank. We need to pick it up about 4hrs away from us. Hope to do that next weekend or the weekend after.

coldwaterreefer - get one!

JB NY - I KNOW. My wife will love it too. She can have some fish she wants now. Oh, and I can have many many clams and LOTS of SPS. Right now my 58gal is packed!

tangreef - I think they are 1.5" bulkheads

Purple Haze - I think there are 2 more identical to this one left

how much did you pay for the tank itself?

ironically, i just finished building a glass version of your tank to the same exact dimensions and want to compare expenses. looks great! here's what you have to look forward to...(stand/canopy are not finished in the pics)

Nice looking setup. You'll like the height of the display. Similar to my specimen tanks. Is the stand in two parts so it will fit through the door? I made that mistake once......

mr9irons - Old school buddy. Long time no chat. Well all the equipment is up and running on my 58gal and the wifes tank

Here are pics of the stands!

Damn i wish i had some money

Yeah, you and me both!!

Looks like it's going to be sweet!!!!!

are you going to add another halide? do you think just the two will be able to cover it? that is a pretty deep tank.

cool tank, looking forward to seeing what you do with it, i love the dimensions, deep tanks are really cool, im just wondering if you will have enough lighting to adequately cover all areas.
