Well ordered 25ft of white spa flex and a sched 40 wye from savko today. I grabbed white as they only had black and if I need more than 25ft I don't want to have some black and some white as I would get what I need extra from Lowes probably. I wanted grey but they don't carry grey.

I called that flexpvc place and asked about grey. It only comes in 50ft rolls but I could get black and white in 25ft rolls. Hard part is where it ships from. Chicago is the closest and they weren't sure if they had enough black if any. Also, if I bought a sched 40 wye it would have to ship out of Arizona. I'm sure I would have to pay separate shipping on the pipe and the fitting...so Savko it is. They are a great company and I have ordered from them many times in the past. Ship fast, great price, and fix any problems ASAP.

I got the total on the phone and was SHOCKED how cheap it was. I asked 2-3more times and he confirmed. Not sure how it can be that cheap but if so shipping will only be like 5-7bucks  I guess I'll see when it clears the bank and I get it. Hope to get it by Friday but that might be big wishes.

Well tonight the tear out continues

erics - Oh them pics will keep coming :D

jnarowe - I'm not sure what they charged me but I'm curious to see! I wish they would have had grey too :( Well they did in a 100ft roll...I probably won't use 20ft.

More progress everyone. The wall that was next to the tank room that was in the right side of the last night pics

All opened up now. You can see the two posts. One out in the open (will be the corner of the tank room) and the other on the very right in that wall that I need to take out yet

Side view of that room. The wall that is on the very left of the picture will be removed to open up the whole room.

You can see the tank room. That post will be the corner of the tank room. You should be able to see most of the tape on the floor where the tank will be.

I'd love to have it too but I'd have 75ft of it laying around :(

Hope to maybe frame out the room some tonight.

yeah but messing w/ selling and shipping wouldn't be worth it. Just better to get what I need and be done w/ it.

I only emptied the truck tonight...no demilition. Tomorrow night the BIG wall is coming down.

My boss is helping me plan out he basement thinks that I should do rock like Energy's tank (TOTM Jan 2008). Sounds like a great idea to me just need to pass it w/ the wife :D

Lunchbucket

That kind of rock has to be used judiciously though, or it will make the room look a lot smaller. Get some design advice regarding how to make the room look as large as possible, and what materials to use to do so. You have to be very careful using rock decor.

jnarowe - Good advice that is very true that I would like to maximize how large it looks down there. I was talking w/ my boss and telling him how I would like to remove all the side and front panels on the tank for access and we are trying to figure out how to do that w/ still making it light and look good (we weren't thinking rock at this point). Guess I'll do some searching and talking to figure out what to use. If anyone has any suggestions speak up

Light colors, flat smooth trim/stand etc. I am no pro but I know there are a lot of ways to trick the mind with texture and color.

jnarowe - I'm sure my wife will find some way on HG TV :D Thanks for the advice.

I've had a rough couple weeks. Imagine the fitness business in Jan :eek1: So I'm gonna rip the WHOLE wall (only one left in the "living room") down tonight I hope

Tomorrow I hope to go to Lowes and get a Exterior 36" door for the room and some sealer for the block and all the 2x4's that will touch that room. Also hope to frame in some of it.

Got my 25ft of Flex PVC from Savko. They forgot my 1.5" Sched 40 wye  So I had to order that today :( :( Free shipping but won't be here till next week so no plumbing this weekend.

dude your on fire what you need to do is get the heavy set people that come to your gym to pop over for some good old fashion sweating, there instance help....

looking good man and your going to move the furance:eek1:

Fast work! I hated demo. It fun to pull it all apart but then you have to clean it up. I much prefer the framing in. Good thing you had your sheet rocker buddy there to help eat up some of the load! :)

asmodeus - Nah I'll do all the work. I like hard work and then I can sit back and enjoy it more later on. Yeah I have 2 guys that will do it for lunch probably. They worked for a heating cooling company for many years. It will be an easy move....straight down the runs just not in the middle of the house and in the middle of my new living room

FFrankie - I too like destroying but I don't like the clean up. But w/ the little pup running around I needed to make sure it got cleaned up. Framing is fun to me you can see some progress. I don't know how much my buddy will end up doing though...I might just try to do it all myself and he is leaving in a couple weeks for a month or more

jnarowe - I'm trying to get moving. Progress only happens IF I do work. Wife and I are both motivated so that helps

Dirty - It will be sweet when everything is running and I can sit down and enjoy it
