My camera is a good one for outdoor shots and for reef pictures. For indoor pictures, you'll need to be close enough to the object that you can use a flash, or set the camera to a higher ISO (400) perhaps. Auto works, but if a room isn't all that bright, you'll sometimes have trouble getting a good shot.
Outdoor photography is actually pretty simple. I never got any training on indoor stuff, but I'm pleased with the images I've taken at MACNA, etc.
Frankly, I think my camera is still good enough to keep you happy, and the Ebay price is quite affordable compared to something new for '05.
