Alan, remind me why I need it again? ;) I know I could use it on the effluent side of my Calcium Reactor, but I'm thinking you were referring to putting it on the air-intake of the Euro-Reef, right? Just to know how much air is being sucked in?

I just want the skimmer to work, and don't really care (that much) how many liters of air per minute are being drawn in.

melev - some people are air freaks and won't buy a skimmer w/out a certain air intake. yes more air is a good thing but there is more to skimming then air....so i agree if it is working great. but i guess you could tell pretty easy when your nipples ()...on your skimmer venturi you sickos is getting clogged

next post will be about 1min and LOTS OF PICS!! i promise.

i redid my 58gal's index page. check it out and let me know what you think. it cleaned it up a lot IMO

how do you post a pic of a website?? like a pic of my front page?

i should haven taken all the pics on my highest resolution and then resized them. i was lazy and took them on TV sized (think it was 680x400) so they prolly don't look as good as they could. the chips pic was on high res and resized to try to capture the color

my camera isn't that good at getting the correct colors so some pieces are a LOT nicer in person

Looks great, Lunch. One of these days I'll actually have the time to post some pics of my tank on my thread on the other board. :) I know you bumped it a week ago or so, but I've been busy. It was nice of Spazz to make excuses for me. Now that's a true friend.

Oh yeah, the CBA looks great. (:p to melev) How's the lokani?

Your tank is filling in nicely.

I need to look at your pictures again.

To answer your question: Get your site on your screen. Now press CONTROL and PRTSCN (Print Screen) at the same time. It is now in the clipboard memory of your computer.

If you have Photoshop, start a NEW image 1024 x 768 or smaller. Now go to EDIT, and click PASTE and it will paste that data from your clipboard into the new image. Resize and Save As. Upload that image of the screen shot to your site, and share it with the world.

Those are great pictures, Eric. Thanks for sharing. I think you should find a fish that eats hydroids and add it to your tank.

And the title on your webpage has a typo. ;)

otolith - thanks buddy. hope to see your pics soon. the lokani is not doing great. it is growing and stuff but it is bleached out pretty good. it will come back..just will take some time

melev - thanks for the info on how to post the web page pic. i don't have photoshop but i'm sure MS paint or nikonview (software w/ my nikon camera)

oops...thanks for the heads up...didn't even notice the spelling errer  spelling is not my strong point

well the wife just said we need to order me a new digital camera. she saw her bro and sisters camera pics over christmas and says my suck :( oh well good way for me to get a new camera :D melev you still tink that your camera would be a good cheap choice??

later

My camera is a good one for outdoor shots and for reef pictures. For indoor pictures, you'll need to be close enough to the object that you can use a flash, or set the camera to a higher ISO (400) perhaps. Auto works, but if a room isn't all that bright, you'll sometimes have trouble getting a good shot.

Outdoor photography is actually pretty simple. I never got any training on indoor stuff, but I'm pleased with the images I've taken at MACNA, etc.

Frankly, I think my camera is still good enough to keep you happy, and the Ebay price is quite affordable compared to something new for '05.

Lunch, looks like your tank is doing great. Nice growth. I would really look into doing something about those hydroids. Have you tried pulling them all out or scrubbing the rock with a brush?

I wish I could get my nobilis to get blue tips like the frag you got from me. I'm just about ready to get rid of mine if it doesn't do something soon. It's been 11 months and not a mm of growth. And the only color change was from blue to brown.:(

I really like this one:

Where did you put your clams?

Travis - yeah the hydroids suck. i have pulled soem out but i have heard if you break off a piece then it can grow back like an apitasia if i piece floats around. trying to limit the spreading :( i thought i got them from that rock you gave me...but you have no hydroids so it wasn't that. not sure were they came from

if anything give me the nobilis and i'll try to get it to come around.

you can have a frag buddy....when it grows up of course
