Here is a picture of a clam I picked up from Reef Monsters on Friday.

Did you use a guide to drill your tank? I have never drilled a tank and I'm quite scared of doing so. I only have a regular chepo hand drill. Would something like that work or do I need something more industrial strength/speed?

I did not use a drill guide, I only used the template that Glass Holes give you. A standard battery operated drill is what I used. It probably took half an hour to forty five minutes to drill the hole. I also used the 1/2" return that they sell.

Here are some updated photo's

I picked up a huge Reef Octopus Calcium Reactor. I have dreams of a bigger tank and this is going to be on it.

My poor Rainbow Monti has not done to well at all. Everything else, I have had no problems with. There is a big piece of Red Planet and Milli with blue tips that I picked up brown and I am trying to color back up.

That CA reactor has more volume than your tank.....

Looking nice!

Really? Hope you mean the tank is looking nice and not the ca Reactor sitting besides it :)
Looks a little ghetto with it just sitting there. Hope that's not permanent. Love the clean look without stuff clinging on the side.

No matter where it sits a $1000 calcium reactor is always going to look ghetto

You could do what I did, build another stand to match your main tank. Have another little tank on there growing something.

After seeing your dosing system enclosure I can't wait to see the boom box enclosure you get to house that Calcium Reactor in!

We'll want pictures for sure!

NO, I meant the reactor, didn't even notice the tank it your pics....
I actually do look at equipment and support systems more than the tanks in peoples posted pics

You are right, any reactors especially CA reactors look ghetto. Pete has a great idea though!
