MACRO ID - Stumper???

My Tang has been nibbling on this from time to time which pleases me. It has been growing substantially well, I just hope that it is not harmful....

Hey Darrin,

I'm afriad you have dictyota. There was a time where it was everywhere in my tank. A tiny hunk that lands elsewhere on your LR can start a whole new patch. Mine really did go away on its own.

It was very bad for me so that's why I wasn't teribly cheery... Is it growing very fast?

Not anymore... I have trimmed it back a considerable amount. I put some in the refugium to let it grow there.

I saw one guy had it all over his tank, but mine was confined to an area about 3"x3".
